6th to 9th August
Three teachers, each bringing a unique perspective and a practice in both partnering and choreography, will lead the process. Through these three viewpoints, participants will explore movement material, deepen embodied communication, and engage in composition in relation to another body. Each teacher will offer two classes, and on the final day, we will bring all the work together in one single piece — one final variation that unifies the three perspectives.
Teachers: Shifu Ash (India), Laisvie Ochoa (Colombia -Lituania), Raul Saldarriaga (Colombia)

Structure of the festival
Through Contact Improvisation, we investigate the qualities of performance. Workshops, jams, and shared practice invite dancers, performers, and curious movers to explore presence, composition, touch, weight, listening, and play—discovering how improvisation becomes performance.
Each day begins with a morning intensive led by a guest teacher Kenzo Kusuda, offering an opportunity to dive deeply into a specific aspect of Contact Improvisation and Performance practice. In the afternoons, Raúl Saldarriaga guides sessions that integrate and expand upon the themes explored earlier in the day. Evenings provide space to practice, experiment, and embody what has been learned through jams, performances, and shared exploration.
Open to both experienced practitioners and newcomers — come to move, witness, and improvise together
May 14-17 2027
Join us for a rich and playful Contact Improvisation gathering where jamming is central. We dance, explore, and connect through shared movement, guided by touch, trust, and timing.
With amazing food available and a few fixed mealtimes, you're free to move, rest, and nourish yourself on your own rhythm.
No formal classes, no pressure. We’ll have a few gentle gathering points like morning circles, sharing spaces, and tuning-ins to help us ground and connect, offering moments to align with the group and drop deeper into the mindset of jamming.
